This is a beautiful chess set that has an antique and unique look and feel to it; the picture just doesn't do it justice. It is made of a plastic-resin mix that makes the pieces heavy (King weighs 5.4oz). This set has yellowish & black colored playing squares, black with green accented pieces & grey with off white accented pieces.

Measures 18" with 2" squares and stands 2" off the surface. The King is 4.75" tall with a 1.5" base and a velour like padding.
