Gamble on the ponies. Rolls of the dice determine which horses scratch and then which go on to win the game. Players hold cards in their hands which correspond to the horses. They must add coins or chips (not supplied) to the pot according fates of the horses.

Wooden board measures 12 x 15 inches. One deck of cards, pair of dice, and instructions are included.

With more than 7 players an additional deck of cards is recommended. Aces, kings and jokers are not used.
