This game was published in 2005 as "Deflexion" and due to a copyright dispute was renamed Khet in 2006.
This game is unique. It combines lasers with classic strategy for an
experience enjoyed by players of all ages. Players alternate turns
moving Egyptian themed mirrored pieces around the playing field after
which they fire their low powered laser diode with the goal of
illuminating their opponent's pieces to eliminate them from the game.
Much like chess and other strategy games, players are forced to think
about the playing field as a whole.
Learning to play is easy, because unlike chess, each piece moves
the same way. The hard part is keeping your pharaoh safe all while
trying to zap your opponent. Contains: board, 24 plastic pieces,
instructions and batteries.
Accessory pieces The Eye of Horus and The Tower of Kadesh add new dimensions and possibilities to the game. They are sold separately.
