New Yorker Cartoon Caption Game
Our Price: $29.95

Each player writes a caption to a cartoon from New Yorker magazine.  Whomever is "it" this turn guesses who wrote each one.  Players score for guessing right and for fooling others.  Like Balderdash, only much funnier!

From the publisher:

Based on The New Yorker’s popular Cartoon Caption Contest comes a game of immeasurable creativity, unmatched wit, and uproarious humor…and you are responsible for, well, most of it. If a picture speaks a thousand words, surely you can come up with a few of your own in this hilarious game of ‘which player wrote which caption’. And don’t worry about not being funny. In a game like this, even the ‘bad’ captions are part of the fun!
Quelf
Our Price: $29.95

You start out simply enough, by moving around the board. However, strange things start to happen fairly quickly. People start talking funny, your friend's face is wrapped up in toilet paper, and now you're being asked how many fingers does a one-armed thumbless woman have. Play as one of 8 characters like the Super Ninja Monkey, Queen Spatula, or The Dude, who might affect how you play.

Check out their new card game Quao.
Wise and Otherwise
Our Price: $38.95

"Wise and Otherwise is a charming, elegant addition to the Dictionary or Balderdash family of games. It has 2,500 wise, funny, and obscure old sayings from around the world. One player reads the first part an actual but little known old saying aloud. Then each player makes up his own ending. You earn points by fooling other players with your saying or by guessing the actual ending.

What could your friends and family do with sayings that begin like these? "Your dog wishes you.... "He that has plenty of pepper... "If your sword is short.... "He that has a great nose...

We sometimes take the cards from Wise and Otherwise, leaving box and board at home, to use as a travel game. Fun to play in the car.

Loser, the game
Price $27.95

Billed as a board game for people who aren't afraid to laugh at their mistakes. And their friends. (We guess they mean to say "friends' ") The object of loser is to be the LAST to cross the finish line. Players move around the board based on their responses to quetions designed to determine their "Loser Quotient". First to finish is the bigget loser.

This game encourages finger pointing. Embarassing at times, but always fun. Sample cards: "If you have attended a Renaissance Faire in the past five years, take the penalty. If you dressed up, take double."... "If you've ever used fake tanning lotion, take the penalty." ... "If you've ever dug a cigarette butt out of an ashtray to smoke, take the penalty."

Fun and funny game, but I wish these losers had asked me to proofread the cards. They'd have fewer spellings of which not to be proud.

Imaginiff
Our Price: $29.95

This funny and interactive game starts with a different board every time.  Players begin by writing in names around the board

bicker as you expect them to).  Or you might choose to include celebrities, colleagues, teachers,  anybody known to all.

with the most popular answers advance to win.
