Every set of Kem Cards is guaranteed serviceable for at least 600 rubbers - or an equivalent if the set is used in other games - played within one year from the purchase date. Kem Cards are guaranteed for one year against all manufacturing defects. Kem Cards are guaranteed washable, provided that the cleaning instructions are carefully observed.

A pinochle deck differs from the usual 52-card deck in that it contains no card below the rank of 9, it contains duplicate cards, and there are only 48 cards in the deck. The two decks have contrasting backs.
